Lindy first joined the NSRJ family in 2012 as a volunteer facilitator and has since held many different roles in the organisation. A master’s in psychology simply reinforced the truth that humans (and their relationships) are more complex, diverse and fascinating than any theory or construct that seeks to explain them. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1997 and is deeply grateful to live, work, walk (barefoot), and dance on the lands of the Coast Salish people. Circle is her natural habitat, and she believes that if we all spent more time sitting around a fire, finding the magic in one another’s stories, world peace would be entirely possible.
NSRJ honours the Elders and Knowledge Holders, past, present and future, and acknowledges with gratitude that our work takes place in communities situated on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations.
